Terms of Service

The rules for using ApliBot

Plain-language terms for the free resume builder, ApliBot accounts and our guides.

Last updated October 5, 2026

Agreement

ApliBot (aplibot.dev) is an independent product operated by its founders in British Columbia, Canada. By using the website, the public resume builder or an ApliBot account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What ApliBot provides

  • A free public resume builder that turns an existing resume into a PDF using ATS-friendly templates.
  • An optional account workspace for job searches, tailored documents, application tracking and follow-ups.
  • Free guides and resume examples. Guides are general information, not legal, financial or immigration advice.

The service is provided as-is and may change, improve or be discontinued over time.

Your account

  • Give accurate information when you create an account and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at the support email if you think it has been accessed without permission.
  • You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

Your content and AI-generated drafts

You keep ownership of the resumes, profile information and other content you upload. You give ApliBot permission to process that content only to provide the features you use.

Resumes, cover letters, summaries and match scores generated by ApliBot are drafts. They can contain mistakes. Review every document before you send it, and make sure every claim about your experience is true. Do not upload documents or personal information about other people that you do not have permission to use.

Acceptable use

Do not use ApliBot to:

  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications or work history to employers.
  • Break the law or the terms of job boards and other platforms you connect.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, overload the service, or scrape, copy or resell it.
  • Upload malware or content that is unlawful, abusive or infringes someone else's rights.

We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.

Third-party services

Some features rely on providers for authentication, hosting, storage, payments, email, AI processing and advertising (for example Supabase, Vercel, Render, Stripe and Google). When you use a third-party platform such as Google Sign-In or a job board, that platform's own terms also apply.

Paid features

The public resume builder is free. Optional paid features are billed through Stripe, with the price shown before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise, you can cancel a subscription at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Use “Manage or cancel subscription” in your profile. The Free account includes 1 job search per day (searches with no results are normally credited back automatically; if a service interruption prevents that, contact support). “Unlimited” Pro searches are for personal use and have a fair-use limit (currently 30 searches in 24 hours) that protects the service from automated abuse. For billing questions or refund requests, contact us at the support email; we handle them fairly and as required by applicable consumer law.

No hiring guarantee

ApliBot helps you prepare and organize, but it does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employer responses, platform approval or any particular result.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ApliBot is provided without warranties of any kind, and the founders are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities or lost data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use

You can stop using ApliBot and delete your account at any time (see data deletion). We may end or suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions? Email accretiondinc12@gmail.com.
